Welcome to ATTO-Campina, an experimental site located in the heart of the Amazon rainforest. Situated just 4 kilometers from the Amazon Tall Tower Observatory (ATTO), ATTO-Campina is uniquely positioned to advance our understanding of the intricate interactions between gases, aerosols, clouds, and precipitation. By leveraging cutting-edge remote sensing and in-situ instrumentation, the site provides continuous, high-resolution measurements of atmospheric and meteorological processes from the surface to the upper troposphere.

This collaborative initiative, supported by Brazilian and German institutions, is critical for addressing key scientific questions about the Amazon's role in the global climate system. Together with the ATTO towers (attoprojetct.org), the site enables comprehensive studies that contribute to climate science and sustainable solutions for the future of our planet.
